How long does it take for gypsum plaster to dry?
Initial setting occurs within hours, but complete drying usually takes 5 to 14 days depending on thickness, ventilation and temperature. We check the moisture before applying the putty.
Is it suitable for wet rooms?
Gypsum plaster is not recommended for directly wet areas such as inside the shower cabin. For such places we offer alternative solutions and waterproofing. In the rest of the bathroom it can be used with a suitable coating.
Can it be applied over old plaster?
Yes, if the old base is sound, clean and well primed. In case of unstable areas, we perform removal and local repairs to ensure a long-lasting and even result.
