How long does it take for the putty to dry?
Typically between 12 and 24 hours per coat depending on thickness, temperature and ventilation. Polymer mixtures may require a little longer. We always wait for complete drying before sanding and priming.
Can I putty over old paint?
Yes, if the base is sound, dust-free and primed. Loose or flaking paint is removed. In case of weak base, a suitable primer is used and critical areas are reinforced.
What is the difference between gypsum and polymer putty?
Gypsum is easy to process and dries quickly, suitable for interiors. Polymer is more elastic and resistant to microcracks, recommended for finishing layers and more heavily loaded surfaces.
